The School of Biomedical Engineering at Tsinghua University currently comprises nine graduate student Party and League collectives, with approximately 320 candidates enrolled. Their research spans the fields of medical imaging, neuro-engineering, micro-nano medicine and tissue engineering, and biomedical instruments.

The Graduate Student Affairs Working Group of the School's Party Committee is responsible for Party building, ideological and political education, administrative management, and development support. It also provides guidance on behalf of the School Party Committee to the Graduate Student Union and League branches.

Since its establishment, the working group has consistently implemented the Party's educational policies and upheld the fundamental mission of fostering virtue and nurturing talent. With the objectives of promoting high-quality development in student ideological and political work, cultivating innovative leading talents, and supporting the Healthy China strategy, the team adheres to a work philosophy centered on "addressing needs, ensuring implementation, emphasizing methodology, and fostering innovation." It has continuously established and refined working systems while advancing five major action plans: advisor-student ideological and political education, ideological and political leadership, academic interest cultivation, career development and employment guidance, and the construction of the graduate student affairs team. Efforts are dedicated to achieving elevated moral and ethical guidance, profound academic interest cultivation, extensive career development navigation, and warm, supportive student development services.
